Brick by Brick
Now I have never been to Rome so I can’t be so sure about how amazing it is. I have to go off of what people (ba-jillions of them) say about the city of Rome. From the colosseums to the architecture it is a phenomenon. Brick by Brick, the city was built up to the Rome that you see today. That feeling building a beautiful place like Rome, I can relate to as well, we finally have our new website ready and running. Yes I am comparing our new website with Rome. Sort of. It took countless hours and clever ideas to put us in a place where we can promote how great the website is. Yeah, Rome probably took countless years and decades to get right, but that’s beside the point. In both instances, brick by brick, both were built up to conquer. Dreams are important, but even more important are those small steps, the bricks that you achieve is your goal.
Our goal at this point is to provide a state of the art product that can help companies grow and achieve a more healthy and productive office culture. Since we last blogged we had a lot of things pop up and still more to come. After our visit to London we focused on getting this website out and also refining our product with new moves. We also got in to the AD game by creating our first commercial ad.
Soon after we published this ad, we jetted off to Manchester, UK. We attended the CityWorks project21 and it was great. The venue was good and in the middle of the city. It was a small event with very few exhibitors, but that was good for us. The intimacy was more conducive for us so that we can show how different and better we were for corporate wellness. We had a guest company with us as well. Olli Tikkanen from Fibion Inc was there as well and we had a great time with him. A lot of things we will take from this event, one being a possible podcast with Fibion. This is something we have thought about before and now we are thinking about recording one podcast to see the feedback.
As a bonus to the trip, we got a tour of Old Trafford and I can’t express how amazing it was. I felt like a kid on the first day of school, scared, nervous and excited. It was eveything I hoped it would be. I know Johan wasn’t a United fan but he stuck it out with me and saw the beauty that was Stretford End. We are back in Kokkola now and the month is far from over. We head to Orlando at the end of the month to take part in the Healthcare Revolution. This is a very large event and we are more than excited! Johan and I are going to be road tripping it from Charleston and we cant wait for this journey.
One of the easiest and most effective methods to start a new journey is to use the already existing routines as a reminder. Think first what you do every day, and what small things you can do to join these events. With smart break and its smart workouts, we are excited to start our brick by brick building in the US.
